Push the lock button on your key fob for three seconds, until the lights on your dashboard blink. Your key has been reprogrammed, and your alarm and computer have been reset. Turn your Kia off, remove the jumper wires and close the hood.
You need to reset the alarm by inserting the reset key(small plastic devise with visible contactors that should be with the keys) for a few seconds in the it's hole in the right-hand rear speaker. Open the boot look at the underside of the rear right-hand speaker to locate the hole.
ok, first off is that when you "jump a bike" dont jump by car with engine running this can fry major componets second you can try the reboot but I do think you damaged one of the parts
Sometimes the alarm thinks the pos. battery cable has been cut so it kills the ighition. You will have to look in the manual to see how to reset the alarm. You may need a code. If its not the alarm, you may have blown a fuse or worse, fried the computer when you put the alt. in. start at the begining. Check the battery cable connections, battery voltage, alt. wires and connections. if the headlighys work but the car won't start, it's prob. not a "connection" problem.
I had the same problem because I store my car in the garage in the winter. I found that replacing the positive/negative cables with new ones and also if you still have your spare key, try putting one key in the ignition and turn to acc before turning it over click your alarm button on your spare set of keys and the alarm should reset itself and the car should start. i hope this helps you, i just finished changing my spark plug wires because I had a code P302 which made my 2nd cylinder misfire, so if your tiburon is around 180,000 km then you should change it too, I recommend Bosch they are the best.
take care
