Might be the starter going bad but you can also check the wires to see if any are curroded. Also, check to see if terminals are rusted or curroded and fuses. put more detailes and i might be able to help.

My 2000 Yamaha worrier 350 Es four wheeler isn't shifting gears right after I start it an ride I can shift but I think only when I don't hold clutch in if its not started I can't shift my gears

Hi Stephanie, for this situation I would call my local dealer or reputable shop's service department and inquire about any possible quick fix. If necessary transport your vehicle to the dealer or shop and have a professional technician take it for a test drive, if possible, and give you a written estimate of repairs and answer any specific questions you may have about your issue. Good luck and have a nice day.

How do i set the timing chain on a 2002 yamaha

Line the (i) mark on the fly wheel to the inspection mark on the inspection plug hole then with both intake and exhaust cam lobes facing outward of the head aline the dots on the cams as best as possible to the top of the head it wont a line perfectly but will be pretty close - the timing on just about all YZ four strokes is exactly the same they all use this set up to install cams

Accelerating problems with my four wheeler

The problem sure is with the clutch, try having a professional have a look at it, you might need to change the clutch, the symptoms you mentioned can be cause by a worn-out (slippery) clutch.

Four wheeler back fires

If the motor has two carbs then balance the carbs. Balancing the carbs basically means being certain the slides on both carbs open up simultaneously. If one carb opens sooner than the other then it 'drives' the other carb and can cause the backfire. Other things can can cause a backfire but lets start here first.

I need the timing spec for a 1994 yamaha timberwolf 250

no dont worry about that # what type of machine is it? what your gonna need to do is find the mark on the fly wheel some have a single mark and some have two if you have the cover off put it on there should be 2 access holes take the covers (small and larger probally flat head allen key) turn the engine counter clockwise till you line the second mark you see in that little window if it has two there should be a mark to line it up with, that is top dead center now there will be marks on the cam sprocket thatneed to get lined up also thats where i need to know what kind of machine it is but somehave an arrow some have two lines that get lined up with the gasket surface. if you post it i can help you finish
