2002 Yamaha YZF-R1, coolant leaking from weep hole after seals were changed.

Question edited for clarity and typo 'weephile'.
Question moved from Misc to model category.

Screeching is dry metal on metal abrasion. Take it all apart and get some water pump grease on the shaft or replace it completely.

Seems to be a known issue

MY TRUCK IS LEAKING SOMETIMES COOLANT, COULD IT BE A HOSE OR THE WATER PUMP?

Check the radiator and hoses for leaks. Also, look at the water pump and see if any coolant is leaking out of the vent or "weep" hole. If coolant is leaking from the weep hole, the water pump is defective and will need replaced. When checking hoses, look for cracks and leaks, especially around the hose clamps. Hope this helped and best wishes.

My 2002 chevy malibu is leaking coolant

Not sure till you find the leak, it could be just a lose hose clamp which is free if you can tighten it, or it could be a worn water pump and is leaking from the weep hole, and that could be Around $70.00 for the part. At worst it's a leaking intake manifold which is going to cast $900.00 to $1100.00 on the repair. Good luck and keep me posted, be glad to help.
