Coolant type I have purchased a 2003 Honda Shadow 1100 Sabre,this is my first bike. What kind of coolant does it take.

    Go to the Honda Dealer. They have a Coolant just for Honda.

    i have a 2004 honda shadow 1100 sabre the bike neutral light does not come on how ever it starts fine .. but when i put it on gear 1st to take off bike cuts off .. cant you tell me wats happening ?

That bike came from the factory with regular green antifreeze/coolant mixed 50/50 with distilled water. You can get it pretty much anywhere that sells automotive products.

The only way it should be anything other than that would be if someone has changed it over, which is rare.

    Chuck is correct. Also Go to your nea by Honda dealer. Let them do a service on it if you have not done one before. Do not be afraid to ask questions. Most of the time those guys will chat away. Learn about your bike. One of the joys of owning it i working on it. Have fun.

I'm thinking about buying a 2007 Honda sabre 1100.Is it fuel injected or do they have carburators?
I believe the 2007 Sabres are still carburated. I owner an 07 shadow and it was carburated. Still is a great bike and its ultra responsive. You won't be able to tell the difference.

more than likly the fill is behind the plastic on the trip tree on the right hand side. loosen the screw and pull and the fill will be staring right at you.

it would be a good idea to do them all, thats by the book. you could skip the fork. engine oil is a must.

Types 1-4 for tanks & fenders for 2002 Honda Shadow Sabre
they are different because the parts are different. depending on which outfit you purchased your bike in, such as classic or touring, will dictate what parts you need. I suggest you contact your local honda dealler and get the part numbers form them. That is the best way to be sure.
