Question about 2005 Suzuki Boulevard S50

Not running right...

A friend of mine has a 2005 boulevard S50. He bought it off a co-worker. It sat for about a eight months. I cleaned the bottom of both carbs and sprayed the hell out of both carbs and still does not run right. It burns fuel way to fast and is hard to start. The chock does not work right. I am going to go through the carbs again. Has anyone had this problum. Don't know what i am missing.
thanks
tim

Where is battery on s50

I believe like my 2008 it is on the very bottom of the bike on the frame, almost right under the tank.seat. 2 bolts need to be removed and of course the batter cables before removing..make sure you get a charging system test and not just replace battery when a no start or dead battery issue occurs, the S50's have a habit of needing stator.regulator replaced..hope thishelps
