I purchased a Kawasaki GPZ 1100 1995 model there was no ignition switch completely unattached from the wire harness what wires would i connect to hotwire

Phillip, the GPZ is essentially a KZ 1100. If the color codes are correct, then if you put the red and the yellow wires together, this should give you power. However, as a temporary fix only, I will give you some good replacement options that should help you out. ^^ Good luck, and hope this helps.

Hi, Anonymous for this scenario you will need your service manual that has all fastener torque specs and a wiring diagram on the back pages, parts fiche, and owners manual if you can't find the best tool you ever bought for your Kawasaki, despair not, for a mere $15 you can download another one.

Gas converion

Since no model number was given, gas dryer conversion kits usually come with instructions. The usually require you to replace the burner orifice, and make an adjustment to the regulator already included with the dryer. In some cases speacial tools are required to perform the conversion. Gearbox has lots of play

Hello, If you are asking about the steering box, then there is usually a slotted bolt with a jam nut on it. You adjust the tension by placing a screwdriver on the slotted bolt to keep it in place, then back off the jam nut. Once free, the slotted bolt is turned clockwise until snug. Then hold this position and turn the jamnut to hold the setting. Some people jack the weight off the front tires to make this adjustment and some leave the weight on the wheels.

When the gears have too much wear in the teeth inside the steering box, you will not be able to get satisfaction by adjusting the bearing. The gearbox is shot and needs replacing. You did not say what Model or Year of product you are fixing. If you have rack and pinion you can get looseness in the valving and again in the Tie-rod links.

The other type of gearbox would be the transmission. If you were asking about the trans looseness it would only be in the shift mechanism. They do wear out.

I hope my suggestion has been very helpful.

Starts to turn over then load clunk and stops rock bike in gear and it will free motor and start

Sounds like there is a tooth or several from the gears floating about somewhere in the engine/gearbox.
A strip down job I would say.

Kawasaki GPZ 500 S owners manual

Hi, Jeff_payn334 the vast majority of service, parts fiche, and owners manuals on the internet are "FREE" to download and all service manuals contain wiring diagrams in the back pages. The rest usually charge a modest fee of $15 and there is a handful of obscure, rare, obsolete, and very old models that are no longer or never were available and some were never printed in English. The Indian and Philippine markets are usually in E-book format only, for these rare occasions I shall look on eBay and find the cheapest one available. Most of the manuals will cover your exact make, model, and year otherwise one will be provided that comes as close as possible to your bike and will have most of the same info that an exact manual would have. If there is no $ sign after the manual link it is free to download.

I have a Sharp ViewcamZ VL-Z900. DEW error

Dew has condensed in the camera. Eject the cassette but leave the cassette door open.remove the battery . Borrow a hair drier . set it to optimum temperature(not vey hot but but hot enough to cause discomfort when blown on fingers). direct the hot air through the cassette compartment door for about five minutes. reattach the battery and reinsert the tape.
Good Luck,

Kawasaki 87 stickers

RdDecals.com in Canada has complete sets or individual sticker pairs including pinstripes for the US Ninja version, but not the GPZ. So, with one of these kits, you could get all of the right stickers except the GPZ (comes with Ninja) stickers on the upper cowl, and the 1000RX for the belly pan (comes with 1000R). They have stickers for other older Kawasaki's as well.
