1989 Suzuki Katana. What are the different key positions settings? How do I get to the battery please?

The Katana comes in 3 flavours - 600 F and 750 F and GSX1100.

I was hoping to find an owners manual. Switch normally has 3 positions, Off, Parking Lights (remove key) and Power On (key locked in place). The battery on a larger bike is normally accessed from under the seat, smaller bikes from behind a side panel (left side).

Gsr 400 service manual
A Japanese domestic market model, the GSR400, become available to selected countries in the middle of 2006. With the same exact dimensions as the GSR600, the only difference was the engine capacity (399 cc as opposed to 599 cc), a smaller exhaust outlet, smaller RPM range and a useful plastic protective cover on the left side of the engine. The bike appealed to the Japanese market as well as selected Asian markets where 400 cc bikes are popular due to riding license classifications as well as road-usability and practicality.

I think you are looking for the flasher?Never had to do this on a bike,but have done it on cars.If the flasher works,the easiest thing to do is turn on one of the blinkers,and follow the sound(much easier in a quiet area like a closed garage).
