Ok, lets see- I still have my old official shop manual for that bike...Cylinder head nut torque is 16-20 ft lbs,Cam sprocket bolt torque is 12-17 ft lbs, Valve adjuster cover torque is 7-10 ft lbs, Cyl head cover torque is (6mm)- 7-10 ft lbs (7mm) 9-12ft lbs, Rocker arm adjuster nut torque is 11-13 ft lbs.

Need to know the torque specs for cylinder head


torqued to 20 ft-lbs. Torque in steps using a criss-cross pattern
untill you get to 20 .

Have a 1986 cb700sc need head torque specs? the 1984 cb650 is 20-24pound torque . would mine be the same?


Hi, you may use those specs for your byke
Only recente engines use Car type screws with permanent strech and crazy torques

Torque setting for bombardier rally 200 cylinder head...2006 model


On a Rally 200 the cylinder head nuts should be torqued to 25 lbs/ft. The general torque sequence for all ATV cylinder heads should be in a criss cross pattern. For the smaller head screws the torque will be 7 lbs/ft.

Head bolt torque is 32 ft.-lb. (43 nm)
Head cover bolt torque is 7 ft.-lb. (10 nm)

Torque value for the 10mm head bolts:
53-57 N-m, 38-41 ft lb

51Nm or 38 ft-lb.
the two 8mm flange bolts are 24NM /17 ft-lb

Torque settings


12Nm is common for 6x100mm with 8mm head screws.If the head of the screw is 10mm I recommend 14Nm.
