Just make sure you get it all out - - we used to use diesel to clean our carbs when we were younger so just get some petrol in to them make sure its all out the tank and i cant see there been too much damage - out of interest though - how the hell do you manage to put diesel in there - over here in the uk we have a black coloured pump for diesel and a green for unleaded - and back in the day we had red for 4 star

I have a 2004 RSVR1000RR Aprilia where I recently flushed out the coolant and refilled with the proper amount at the suggested levels. The first time I rode the bike I had a flashing temp at 275 degrees....

i reused my crush washer, it holds fine, just make sure after your done you run it and check for leaks... also most of the people recommend to fill it on the side stand due to it fills better and gets rid of the air pockets in between the 2 radiators. you have air in the system. need to purge and fill. SLOWLY. as to not get bubbles. there a air release valve? run engine with cap off for a few seconds, and then put cap back. Otherwise let me know and we'll go from there. DO NOT LET IT OVERHEAT. IF IT STARTS TO SHUTOFF AND COOL DOWN IMMEDIATELY PLEASE. THANK YOU> FixYa Support

I have a 1999 Suzuki Marauder VZ800. Lately I have been having problems with the battery. Before you say go buy a new one, the battery will be fine for a while, but then it won't be able to turn the bike...

it sound like you may have a alternator discharge problem . Charge the battery take it for a ride when you get back try starting the bike if it starts fine disconect the battery over night then hook it back up the next day if it starts fine their is a draw from something. if it doesn't start you have a bad plate in side the battery discharging it 9replace the battery) if the bike doesn't start after your test ride the the alternator has gone bad or is not hooked up correctly.

My bike starts fine in the morning, rode it to work ,which is a 20 mile ride. when i stop turn it off and try to start it back up i get nothing.yet when i let it sit while im at work get back on at the end...

1st make sure all connections and grounds are tight. you said you can jump or push start when hot, this sounds like a classic charging system problem, have your regulator and stator checked.

When i bought the bike it was running ok the kid told me i have to change the oil and get a tune up.i rode the bike a rew times and it seemed fine, now when i ride it it has no power at all!! when i give...

sounds like he was right! it needs a tune up!...change plugs and wires replace old air filter and FUEL filter,... put in fresh gas along with some Sea foam from Autzone pour in 1/3 can to two gallons fuel and then push start the bike if you have to and get on it and ride ...it might take about 10-15 miles before you'll notice a difference.
