The centerstand makes it a lot easier. I really don't know whay they would say not to put it on the stand to change the oil Put it on the centerstand and change the oil it will be fine.

2005 Suzuki boulevard c-90 I changed oil and filter but the oil light stays on so I changed the oil and filter again and the oil light is still on .

Hi, Gene you may have air in the system try bleeding it out like you would for brakes by loosening the oil pressure switch or oil filter with the engine running and watch for bubbles when they stop re-tighten and your good to go, for more information about your question and valuable "FREE" downloads that you will need please click on the links below. After an oil change, there always seems to be a problem with the "reset" for oil-change reminder...even when instructions are explicitly followed...there seems to be an additional step not shown...

Press reset until OIL LIFE is displayed. Hold in button for 10 seconds. Select oil life and hold in button until it resets. It should be same in your owners manual. You can always ask what the step is, but they may be annoyed that you are not using them for oil changes. If you have them perform the oil change, then its included. Its better for you because they will be using quality Honda Oil filters and oil.

Owners manual has this info. Check with dealer and they will tell you how. Ask for service department. Let me know if this helps. Moe

I just bought a 96 GSX 750F and it didnt come with a manual. I need to change the oil but not sure what type of oil it takes or how much to put in.

You can try calling the local Suzuki service department and ask. They should be able to look up the information and let you know. This bike should also have an oil filter that you will need to change as well, so a stop by the dealer might be better. Try e-bay to see if you can find an owners manual or a service manual. If you have a motorcycle wrecking yard near you they might have an owners manual as well.

Good Luck!
