Well, if it's not locked up, and it just quit running, I'de pull those plugs and take a look and see if they're wet. All that oil had to go somewhere. I would not do anything with trying to start it until I found out where that oil went. That is NOT a normal situation

Hi my suzuki gz 125 wont idle correctly and when i rev the engine it just dies down and cuts out i cant even achieve a stable idle speed

I had this problem today with my bike and after much ado I discovered there was oil in the air filter box... check your oil level it could be too full. Mines was and the excess oil was blown into the air filter box and as a result contaminated the air filter. Spent today cleaning the filter box, carb and draining and changing oil, could not get a new air filter today so ran it without onebike runs like new!! New air filter will be here Monday!

Fuel issue (could be clogged jets)
Loose spark plug boots (lack of spark could cause it as well).

Clogged exhaust making excess exhaust pressure.

yes about the stator have you checked the batt power with the bike running, charge the batt get the bike running see what your meter reads should be 13v aprox. trun bike off leave meter on batt and see if it starts counting down if so the batt could be pooched and the fuel issue could just be junk plugged up the filter around the petcock

DRAIN CARBS FROM PETCOCK AT BOTTOM OF EACH CARB MAKE SURE FUEL DRAINS COMPLETELY THEN TURN FUEL BACK ON, IF THIS IS AN INJECTED MODEL DRAIN TANK AND FLUSH THEN RUN IT HARD FOR 20 MILES OR SO, MAKE SURE YOUR OIL LEVEL IS OK

Check the vacuum pipe from the carbs to the fuel tap, if its gat a pin hole in as you demand more fuel the vacuum loss cuts downthe fuel flow and the bike will stop!

I'm having a problem with the oil level in my bike. I just did an oil change and I did exactly what the manual told me. I first warmed the oil by idling it, then I drained it. According to the manual, it...

Two possibilities........you didn't drain all the old oil out, or you didn't hold the bike in a straight upright position while checking the new oil. That is assuming you correctly interpreted the manual, and that you ran the bike for a few minutes before checking the oil level.

When you reassembled the bike did you pinch any of the wiring harnesses? Trace the wiring through the bike and make sure everything has a solid connection between their respective power sources and activation switches. Alot of time bikes run wiring under the gas tanks so you need to make sure that you didnt cut anything when pputting it back on (if you removed the tank)

Check the piston to cylinder clearance. You very well could have wore either the piston and/or the cylinder.
Also check the rod for up/down play.Running out of oil could have ruined any bearing in the motor.
