I need some advice on a high performance coil, other than stock. The Screamin Eagle one does not say if it is for EFI models, or even if that matters. I don't know. I would like to upgrade to a higher voltage coil, to get more bang from my spark. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!!

The stock coil is fine for stage 1 motors, once you go cams and high compression then you start to need better voltage and faster generation of spark.
Using a performance coil on a stock bike will just cost you in plugs as you also need to upgrade your plugs to deal with the higher loads, the stock plug will cope it will just erode the electrode faster.
on my metric motor i was going thru plugs every service (3000miles) and there were scrap not even good enough for running the lawn mower
i was running Dyna Micro coils, 10mm thundervolt 50 leads, and either split fire (lasted 6000miles) or autolite plugs (3500miles)

The best solution to this in order to keep performance and sound qualities is to replace your current exhaust. tho the screamin eagle exhaust systems allow more flow, they are not up to a racing par along with vance and hines or thunder header or so on screamin eagle is kept in guidelines under the epa so sound is on the lesser side and so is performance, i would check out thunderheader.net their systems are the best performing and sound 100% amazing i will warn you that they are not the prettiest things out their tho other than that there is on some model screamin eagle exhausts is a small allen button head screw that will remove the baffles. and some don't

you might need to clean you stator(altinator) or maybe get a new one for you spark to work right if you have already changed the coil.also bad gas can do it also or low fuel.when the tank is low put your bike gas valve on reserve.A friends bike was running badly and all i did was put it on reserve cause the tank was low and the bike ran great after that.
Your ign pick up is bad. Pull the little cover on the right side of the motor off ( usually riveted on ) see if the plate is mushy if it is then replace it with the screamin eagle ign plate. It's cheaper than stock and you get a little performance boost as well.
