Question about 2006 Harley Davidson FXDWGI Dyna Wide Glide

Floor boards on Wide Glide

I called a place ( hogpro.com) about wheels for my 07 fxdwg and talked to the guy there. he said a 180 will fit with no problems and a 200 will fit in the swingarm and fender, you just have to center the wheel and deal with the turn signal brackets etc. Does anyone know where i can get a set of rear struts that are just plain with no recess for the turn signals that will bolt on to the stock bike? I am gonna try the 200/55-18 this winter on a 18x 5.5" wheel.

I have an 05 Dyna Wide Glide with forward controls. I want to add floor boards to give me a more upright body position for long trips. Where can I get floor boards that bolt to the existing mounts on the frame?

I have floorboards on my 02 WG - both rider and passenger. The passenger boards are HD. The rider boards are these: (about half way down the page - Adjustable Floorboard Kit - part number is CS190505) http://www.cas4.com/Forward-Controls...oorboards.html Easy install - remove the footpeg, bolt the floorboards in place. I'll see if I can find some good pics of my bike with the floorboards installed.

2012 fxdwg,can i exchange rear 17" rim for a 16" rim

Yes! It will ride like a buffalo(but it is a harley so you probably won't notice a difference) If you fit a smaller wheel you will need to fit a bigger tyre. You could fit a 10" rim if you wanted, it just wouldn't handle properly.

Brake fluid leak at front wheel fitting connector

If you mean at the "banjo" fitting where the line connects to the caliper, replace the "Banjo Bolt Sealing Washer" (2 per Banjo Fitting needed).

Have doherty air fillter fitted but have bin blowing out oil so shop fitted lines to take oil but pipes just go under frame so placed pipes in can that i strapt to frame is this ok

I'm assuming that your are talking about the crankcase breathers in the heads. As long as the breathers are not blocked and the engine can expel the excess crankcase pressure, you're fine.

I want to see the rear wheel assembly on2004 dyna wide glide. axle, washers, and spacers.

Go to this site http://www.bikebandit.com Click OEM parts. Choose H-D and your year and model of your bike. Click on rear wheel. It may not show the the '04 FXDWG but you can try looking a year earlier or later to find what you need.

97 fxdl, difference between narrow/wide glide componants

You need the complete front end including the wheel. The FXDWG is somewhat of an oddball in that a lot of parts fit only that bike. A lot of other parts will not fit a Wide Glide. This even applies to the exhaust system.

Measure the diameter of your upper fork tubes, they're 39 mm tubes. The Wide Glide uses 41 mm tubes. The Wide Glide also uses a 21" front wheel.

Does any one know if progressive shocks off a 1997 dyna wide glide will fit a 2003 dyna wide glide.

They should fit, just measure the length of the shock from eyelet to eyelet. if you don't have the measurements of the other bike just call a local dealer to find out the standard length
