Question about 2003 Harley Davidson FXDWG Dyna Wide Glide

Questions regarding 07 fxdwg

I am about to trade my 08 fxdc for a very low mileage 07 cobalt blue fxdwg from a stealer. I just love the look of the wide glides. I have some questions. 1. Is there anything that I have to worry about? Were there any problems with 2007 engines? Any recalls concerning this specific model (I heard something about problems with the handlebars)? 2. I want to get some drag bars. I have seen some wideglides with street slammers; love the look. In relation to the standard mini apes, do they make you lean forward? I am 5.9 with 30-31 inseam and the set up forward controls - mini apes feels comfortable. I want drag bars but something that would put me in a similar position to the mini apes (but do not like ones with > 8'' risers). Also, what about the HD billet aluminum handlebar? Is it any good? How long are the risers (or can one choose whatever length risers they want)?

I got an 06 Wide Glide, Cobalt blue ironically. No issues, my factory apes got warrantied was the only thing. Cracking down at the base or something the MOCO issued a recall for. I lean back pretty nice on mine. I'm 6'4 though. I will be putting on a 3" forward control extension this winter. I don't feel like I have to "reach" at all for the controls though. I have the 25 degree injectors, never had any of the injector problems that others dealth with, I think the others are 8's....is that right? Mine is of course a 88 TC, not the 96. Love it, I'll never get rid of it. Got a few mods on mine you can see in my sig. PM if you got any questions. Good luck and enjoy.

What is a pn 32919-07, pn 68925-07 and pn 67033-08 on a harley fatboy

Hi, Anonymous these numbers usually show up at the end of a diagnostic search for generated error codes that are active or non-active that have been resolved but not cleared. They are part numbers that identify electrical components that are currently installed on the bike. 32919-07 is the ECM that has been remapped for a stage one upgrade. 68925-07 is the security alarm module. 67033-08 is the speedometer. I am looking to purchase a 2000 fxdwg with 15448 miles and would like to know what a compression test should tell me, also what is the stock compression of same?

You should have between 100-125 psi compression and not over 10% difference between cylinders. At this low mileage, there shouldn't be any problem unless the bike has been badly maintained or abused.

I have a 99 fxdwg has about a quater turn of play

Get that sprocket off there now before it sticks you someplace you do'nt want to be. Hopefully you haven't damaged the shaft on the tranny by running it that way.....Put on a NEW sprocket and now is the time if you want to change your drive ratio by going up or down 1 tooth on the front..........1 tooth larger will increase your mileage and relaxe the rpms at cruising speed...1 tooth smaller will make you accellerate away from a stop quicker at the expense of gas mileage.....good Luck to you friend.....tim
