You might need to replace your battery if: * your starter motor is experiencing slow or interrupted turnover. * your instrument panel battery light indicates battery discharge for extended periods after the engine is running. * your battery seems to lose power quickly in cold or extended starts. * your headlights dim at idle. Any of these warning signals may also indicate a problem with the electrical system in your vehicle and not necessarily a battery failure. A battery that is about to fail will often give little or no warning. If you suspect that your battery is failing, test it yourself or have it tested or replaced as soon as possible by your local Interstate Batteries dealer.

Where is the battery?

I don't know your model .maybe there is no battery, some small two stroke motors have a winding in the flywheel that will supply power to lights and horn only when the engine running.

My bike cooked a brand new battery? How do i fix?

Hi, remove all the fuses you can find. You'll need to hook an amp meter (ammeter) in series with the positive lead of the battery. Starting with a good battery, start replacing the fuses one by one until the ammeter jumps (shows electricity flowing) Now you know the circuit that is draining the battery.

I have a 2007 Harley street glide battery died. I replaced it then the radio would not work. checked the fuses and found all ok. I road it for one day and let it sit for 2 days and the new battery is dead....

May sound like a dumb question bur are you sure you reconnected the wires correctly? If so there could be a short. If the fuses are good I would say between the fuse and the battery. I am not as familiar with the baggers but I know battery quick battery drains on any of my bikes were always a short to ground

i know it sounds wierd but you need to replace the battery, you should only be getting 12.5 to 13.1 volts on a battery while the engine isnt running, sounds like you have a dead cell

I lost my manual from my Kawasaki Drifter 800 and want to know where to find the battery and how to replace it. Thanks a lot, Peter

You have to remove the seat and its under there, make sure you get the correct battery when replacing it, it takes a maintanance free battery, you should probably go to a Kawasaki dealer and get one.

1997 gsxr 750...I charge the battery and it starts right up, but dies after about 10 that just a bad battery or something more expensive that i cant afford

Start the bike. Remove the negative battery cable (Don't let it touch anything). If it shuts off, you have a bad alternator. Otherwise, replace the battery.

Why does my battery loose charge after a day sitting

There is a 99.99% chance the voltage regulator is bad and that is draining the battery. I'm not sure what else you are looking for, if you want to know how to replace it, etc.

If you do want to know how to replace it, I can tell you how but it would be far easier for you if you were to just take it to a shop.

Can't replace Komoto 250cc scooter battery

I just purchased a new 2007 Komoto QH-250II-A and the battery was under the seat in an open location. I was surprised it was so easy to see. My old scoot had the battery in the front behind the head lights under about a gazillion screws.
Try looking under the seat.
