I originally got a std height, myself. At 5'9", or so, the arch was right in my sightline, not good. At your height, it might work out ok. One thing to think about, if you're gonna change the seat (most do), is, do that first and get your butt comfy, THEN find a w/s that fits your seating position. I ended up with two. A lite smoked 4" under for when I use the CC solo seat, and a 2" under for my two-up (Mustang). Good luck, and congrats on the incoming new ride.

How to remove faring on 2003 flhtcui harley davidson

I assume you have a really good reason to do this and a half-way decent set of tools. Protect the paint first - towels over the front fender and boulevard lamps. Get a towel for the windshield and the fairing. Get a piece of cardboard and mark out the holes using the diagram. Punch out some holes (i with an awl and a 3/16" allen wrench. Remove the headlamp assembly. The book says that you don't have to do this, but if you don't, fairing removal and installation gets awkward really fast. Loosen (don't remove) the bolts in the order shown. Remove the windshield. Then remove all the screws in the order shown.

Apply a thin film of silicone grease (plumbing section, hardware store) on the inner fairing gasket. Insert the bolts in the order shown. Do not tighten any bolts until the windshield is in place. Tighten the bolts in the order shown. Gently move the fairing around to make sure that it seats correctly. Use a really light touch on the bolts. Snug is good enough. The threads are brass. If you have an inch torque wrench, then apply no more than 36 INCH-LBS of force.

Where can I get the installation guide lines to set up and install the new clamp to forks removable windshield on a 2007 FLXSTB?

The windshield should have come with the instructions. If you purchased the windshield used, you might be able to get installation instructions from a dealer if you can provide him with a part number of the windshild kit. You may can get this number by looking in Harley's accessory book. I hope this helps a bit.

Good Luck

Speedo reflects onto windshield at night

The dash panel can be dimmed. Check your owners manual and it will tell you how to do this.
Also, I cut about 2" off the top of my windshield so it would be just below my line of sight. This solved the reflection problem totally.

125cc isn't a very big engine to push a scooter with a windshield. Adding a windshield dramitcally increases the load on that little engine. Kymco does have one and Your dealer can probably order it for you. You can also find it on

I need help with atk windshield

and a bag of parts but no instructions. It looks like the one TorrtheLead has on his full dress stroke thread. There are 4 metal spacers I guess go on the handle bar mounts. Not sure if they go on top or under the brackets. Also 4 rubber washers and 4 curved lock warshers. I'm guessing they go on the windshield but not sure if on the inside or outside of the plastic. Could someone look at their windshield and tell me if I am rightIf you want I can scan the OEM Directions that came with mine that I still have, and then e-mail the entire document to you. ,,,

Try EBAY if not you are going to have to look for US dealers in this link: They can give you the stock status and price. If not the only other thing you can do is look for a dealer in Europe:,,
