Question about 2006 Harley Davidson XL 1200 C Sportster Custom
Where is the oil drain plug located on 2003 Harley-Davidson sportster custom 1200?
Follow the hose that goes to the frame from the oil tank. Loosen the clamp and pull.

When you fill it with new oil it is recommended to keep the hose clamp loose where it "attaches" to the frame and QUICKLY pull it off and replace it after you get a "few" drops of oil out of the drain hose. This should stop the oil pump from cavitating.

Drain it from the large hose coming off the bottom of the oil tank that leads to under your battery plate. you can undo the clamp there and drain it.
