Question about 2004 Ducati ST4s ABS
So I just pulled the sheet off the old girl after a long winters slumber. Exceited to take her out on a nice spring day. I pulled it out in the drive and inserted the key. Turned the key and the lights came on. The normal wind of the fuel pump. But, the expected sound of the engine turning over never came. I have had the bike connected to the battery tender all winter long. I opened up the fuse box and checked all the fuses and they all looked good. I am at a loss. Does anyone know anything that I am missing? Your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks
With cars or bikes you have to isolate the problem to fuel, electrical or mechanical. It appears you have narrowed it down to an electrical issue. If I were in your shoes I would: 1. check the "run switch and fuses 2. triple check the "run" switch and fuses 3. pull the fairings and check the voltage at the battery(12 volts is a dead battery) 4. check starter relay. 5. check that all battery connections are snug Check the above and let us know what the results are.
