Gas leaks when starting

Gas leaks? You didn't provide many details. If you mean leaks from the tank then it's probably a faulty gas line or tank, which wouldn't be to hard to fix. If you mean leaks from the engine then you have a bigger problem. Either way you are looking at a fire / injury waiting to happen. Before taking it to a repair shop, check the fuel line, tank, air and fuel filter, and most importantly the carburetor. When they malfunction the engine gets the wrong air/fuel mixture which can cause stalling - sputtering - flooding etc. If you're not sure, take it to a shop to be fixed, a few dollars isn't worth the risk to you or your house. There is no leak of gas until the engine is cold. After starts dripping on the rear of the gas tank. Yukon 4x4 05. Is this return line or something else? Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks

You will need to follow leak to pin point the leak to fix.Could be the seal that holds the pump in tank, could be fuel filter leaking and gas is traveling down fuel line to back of vehicle.Get a pair of safety glasses to look, could be return line. Can you do a video of the leak?

Gas is leaking and I don't see any gas lines causing this. could be the gas tank - can this be replaced?

Could be the tank, and yes you can replace it.But first, remove the plastic shell and look for the fuel lines they are on the inside.Look behind the carb, and make sure that the gas cap is not where it is leaking. If the tank is cracked you will need to order one from the manufacturer.

Thank you for using Fix Ya.

1995 Dodge Caravan - I'm leaking gas from the tank. There are two metal braces that hold the tank up, with a rubber strip between the brace and the tank. It's leaking along one of those braces and the...

I had this problem also. Although I took mine off and used a sealent on the inside and used Seal All on the outside. First off I cleaned mine and primed and repainted it. You may be able to get away with loosing the bracket, find where the gas is coming from and clean that area very well. You can buy a something called metal weld-looks like a crayon. You break a chunk off and knead it and smash onto the hold or area like putting silly putty on it. Then after that is dry or hardened, take some "Seal All", comes in a yellow/red tube and smear that all over the weld patch. Let it dry and cure and replace the bracket. If your rubber is moving you need to tighten the bracket up. Hope this helps.

Coolant Leaking from Behind the Water Pump Body

This is a shot in the dark depending on how much it is leaking you can try a sealent called bars stop leak it is poured directly into the radiator (a cool one) and is run for an extended period of time you are not out much if it d'ont work. other than that you will have to have the gasket replaced with a sealent tempeture over 500 degrees good luck!
