Sounds like your oil got hot eh? Is your bike water-colled? If so, better flush out that system and make sure its working properly.

2008 streetglide stumbles or falls flat at take off when hot.

Most likely to be an ignition issue. Check the plugs(spark), HT leads and the coils. These can all break down under heat and stress. These things are usually not visible to the naked eye, a plug and lead change is cheap and easy- buy the best of each you can afford you have already spent a lot on the mechanicals, you should treat the electricals the same.

Hi Al, take a ride over to your local dealers service department, I'm sure they will be happy to take your Harley Davidson for a test ride if necessary and offer professional advice and assistance concerning your issue. Have a nice day.

I am noticing places on the ground under the front part of the engine on my street glide Trike. Oil & transmission levels are good.

If it's a 2011 model, I'd take it back to the dealer if the warranty is still good. Otherwise, look for oil running down the engine somewhere our out from underneath the engine. Once you locate the general area, clean it up as good as you can. Go for a short ride and check the engine for leakage. If you don't see it, take another short ride. Eventually, you'll spot where the oil is coming from. The source of the leak will determine what you must do to fix it.

Good Luck
Steve

Radiator fan not working

Be sure the wires are hooked up, and it may not have gotten hot enough to turn on the fan in just a few minuets. Ride it close to home, up and down the street for a bit to see. Just do not go far until you know for sure.

What sounds are normal for the Suzuki Boulevard S40?

It could be gear whine and yes, it's normal because the trans is no really as tight as a street or more conservitive bikes. Which is really a good thing. Suzukis prety much dominate the 2 stroke class of dirt bikeks because they are nore toerant or forgiving.. As long as your oil is maintained and bnothing chunks out, ride like the wind When the noise developes into the forward gears there should be some concern , but at this point naw. Ride safe and have fun.

Mpg on 2003 yz250

depends alot on your, riding style, final gearing, terrain, and to an extent even jetting/temperature/humidity/etc.

I have figured 2.5-3 hours of average riding based on 2.1 gallon tank for trail type riding. If your really aggressive/heavy on the throttle, you may get closer to 2.

if you ride with quads, get them to bring a small container of premix for you. try not to run out tho.........no gas=no oil.

Oil overspill coming out of air cleaner/filter

Relax...... Harley's all vent oil thru the air cleaner, actually, S & S does to, except they put a overflow valve so it drips on the road rather than the engine. Various little things can cause the oil flow to increase, and yes, over filling, over heating, and sometime, just running balls out for awhile.

Its normal, and shouldnt cause any problems more serious than oil mist on yer engine ( and sometimes passenger)

Running rough , oil light came on, then stalled at stop lights.

hi m8,,took a look at this pretty pic u have and thought i add one of these,,see wot the prob is,,hope im not gonna be the bringer of bad news mr, seems to me the oil pump in the sump has seized,,while riding it if it felt tight wen it stopped, then that aint good,, but u can change these with out takin the moter out, drain the oil,, sump off and clutch out, to get to the nuts on the oil pump..just means either u lie on the floor and do it, or be lucky and have a ramp,,although u will have to get some 1 to look at the shells on the crank,, or bearings and hope they havent been damaged,,there wont be damage tho if the oil u have drained out doesnt have iron filings in it, ,cheers m8,,
