Steering head bearings not correctly tightened. Play in forks, poorly balanced wheel, too much rake... shrug.

if the wheels not buckled it sounds like wheel bearings. lock the handlebars and see if there is movement to front wheel, left to right.

1987 honda hurricane 600 front end head shake after 55mph and rolling off the throttle . air is at 6psi in each tube , front axle nut torqed to 80ft lb ,front tire 34 psi , tire is balanced .

sounds like either the tire is feathering or the head bearings are bad. if you can rub your hand over the tire tread and theres a lip on one side of the tread then its feathering. f0f1bd53-24b2-4d9d-9a03-76754a418f1a.jpg

There can be many reasons , so you will need to check down the list until the problem is solved.

Worn tyres

worn\loose steering head bearings
loose axle nut

bent disc rotors
front suspension damping too soft,
loose handle bars

Front end vibration

Check if there's any play within the bearings..top and bottom of the triple tree. Put your bike on the center stand and ask someone to sit onthe bike seat and tht way it will raise in the front, try to shake the triple tree into forward and backward motion, if you do find some play thn try to adjust them(bearing)...careful not to keep em tight or else you wont get a good balance on the steering whiles riding!
Check the bushing at the handle bar too!
Hope this helps!

Apart from damper any other way of controlling head shake on my b2h modle 636

Without a damper, the only other thing you can do is ensure tire pressure is correct and have a shop fine tune the balancing on both wheels. Tell them to speed balancing machine as fast as it can go.

Shake from left to right at high speeds.

Check for steering head bearing problems. But most likely you have a cruiser that is not supposed to be driven at high speeds and this is normal. Sport bikes use a steering dampner to solve that problem.

Handle bars shake up and down at 50-55mph

Could be a few things I would recomend checking all the head bearings really good, it also could be a busted cord in the front tire. When this happens it usually causes a vibration at higher speeds

Head shake on my 1100

Tire pressure, steering head bearings, wheel balance, jacked up damper... Those are my ideas, in that order.

07 Buell 12Ss shaking

not just a vibration but more of a shake at 1500 to 1700 rpm. Is this just life with a Buell or should it be checked out? These bikes are known to shake alot at idle. Check if your tires properly balanced.,,
