Winter storage solution for a 2008 Yamaha Royal Star Tour Deluxe

What should I do to winterize my bike other than taking out the battery. The bike will be stored inside a garage, all fluid levels are topped up and I will add antifreeze to the coolant system

You can take out the plugs - inject a little engine oil, crank the engine 5-6 times and reinstall, support the bike so the weight is off the tires, drain the gas and spray the tank with a rust preventative....

What is the procedure for changing the front and rear brake pads on a 2005 Yamaha Royal Star Tour Deluxe

Changing (disc) brake pads on metric MCs is pretty simple. I would advise you to buy a shop manuel for your particular bike. The investment in a shop Manuel will probably save you lots of $$$. You'll find there's a whole lot of stuff you can do your self. Things are explained very clear and simple.

Went to start my 2006 Yamaha ROyal Star Tour Deluxe, had no power to ignition or electrical system

sounds like possible bad battery or batttery connections. If battery is more than 4-5 years old thatis a good place to start as it should be replaced anyway.

My 2006 Yamaha Royal Star Tour Deluxe gives off a foul rotten egg smelling stench that seems to be coming from the battery. The bike has fried two brand new batteries in just two days of riding on each....

The egg smell is the battery. as it overcharges and overheats, this gas is flammable as well so no sparks.
The regulator is definately shot, but possibly the alternator windings as well.
Not certain on that model but it may have an alternator with an internal regulator.
Unfortunately can be an expensive exercise.

Where do you check the oil level on a 2008 royal star touring deluxe

There's a glass window on the right side of the crankcase marked for high (max) and low (min) levels. Get on hands and knees, have somebody hold the bike upright, and look under the front crankcase cover directly beside the right operator's footrest; you'll probably need a flashlight to read it.

Can I use a Sears Motorcycle Jack to lift my 2008 Royal Star Venture without modifying the jack to avoid damage to the kickstand or the engine?

You might have to use a block of wood under the engine and you just might find that the bike, if a dresser, will be heavy in the back and be unable to lift level. Try it, and if it does not do the job, then take it back.
