I know this is 4 yrs old but if someone else has this problem...Sounds like your float is stuck. Pull off the bottom of the carb (the bowl) and see if the the float moves freely. Just by pulling of the bowl it might become un-stuck. If it does moves freely, put back together and run it and see if it is better. Other then that, the almost tipping it thing may have been unrelated and could be a clogged jet or fouled plug.

First you need to check to see if your throttle cable is sticking?
next you need to look in th back of the carb and see if the throttle is closed.
we want to make sure that you dont have a vacuume leak.

Why is my 2004 cr125 idling high?

This could be any number of things, stuck throttle cable, idle set too high or stuck choke butterfly. Give these a check and you should at least have an idea where the problem lies.

CR 125 is 2 stroke? Rings probably worn out. Check compression, if lower than 85 psi, it wont run.

I put a new piston and gasket kit on my cr 125 1997 and it still has no compression at all you can push down the kick lever with your hand??i need help i just bought it two weeks ago

Honda 4 stroke, correct? It sounds like you have the valve timing off. Put a compression gauge on it and if you have 0 compression ,you shou;d reck your valve timing. Good Luck

93 cr 125 has lack of power and a loud nocking

In a 2 stroke engine there are no valves and thus no adjusting required. The itself acts as a valve too.
Maybe you will have to rebore the cylinder and fit an oversize piston -kit or if the cylinder is to its tolerance thn fit in new setoof piston rings.

I have a 2000 cr80rb 2-stroke and when i kick start it, it sounds like the throttle is up to high.......any soultions

Sound like it's jetted too lean on your idle jet in your carburator. That will make sound like it's "running out of fuel." If that's true, you plug will turn white if you let it run that way for a while.

Honda cr 125 1997 wont idle

Your carberautor is either gummed up or needs to be adjusted. Begin by going to an auto zone or similar store and gatting a can of carb. cleaner that gets added to your gas. Be sure to follow the instructions on how much you add per gallon. let that run through your bike for a while and see where you are. If cleaning the carb. doesn't hellp, then the carb. will have to be adjusted.

Trouble with speed.

Yes. The application of a proper pipe on a two-stroke motor is critical. The 250 pipe has way to much volume and not enough back pressure to allow the 125 motor to breath properly. Also check the ignition timing carb jetting and power valve for proper working order per Honda specifications.,
