Re: CRF 150 Honda 2007 oil change
There are also 2 separate drains/fillers one for the transmission and the othe for the crankcase . The measure is 620 ml per side, although some guys run up to 700 ml on the transmission. 10W-40 is the correct weight for the engine side. On the trans side a Transmission specific oil in an 80W or 85W grade. Maxima Extra full synthetic is the best oil you can buy for the engine. MaximaMTL is the best for transmissions.

The oil plug location can be referred from the below diagram
To change the oil on a 150F you have to take a cap off it takes a big
socket set to do this. The cap is right next to the shifter. once the
cap is off a spring is right behind it and and filter behind that keep
those parts for later. the oil will begging to come out and you need a
pan to catch it. When all the oil is out put the assembly back in and
fill the bike with 10w - 30 oil. you need about 1.1 quarts. Don't forget to rate me as ' helpful ' if satisfied.
Engine oil: Fill the crankcase with the recommended oil.
Capacity: 0.73 US qt (0.69L)
at oil and filter change
Fill the crankcase with recommended oil.
Capacity: 0.62 US qt (0.59L) at oil change.
right under the lever where you switch gears there is a big 24mm nut thats where you drain it,and on the other side of engine by the kick start lever is the cap/dip stick to add new oil, remember use motorcycle oil not car/auto oil,car oil breaks down to fast in the high heat little engines, happy trails,yz-maniac......
The crankcase oil fill is the dipstick hole on the left side of the engine. It holds .73 quart. The right side fill plug is for the transmission oil. It holds .63 quart. You will need to drain the transmission oil and refill it with the correct amount of oil. The drain is located on the left lower crankcase. It is bolt/washer in the parts diagram of the link below. I recommend you purchase an owners manual or service manual for this bike as this is a high performance model that requires frequent maintenance. http://188.8.131.52/wps/Honda_OEM/HondaDB.asp?Type=12&A=1
You should not have oil leaking from the carby. If you have over filled it with oil, then it may be coming from the crankcase breather and then into the airbox, and appearing to come from the carby. If you have not over filled it, then the bike may have blowby problems with compression gasses passing the rings, and in a similar manner forcing oil out the crankcase breather. Not sure about the hole in the side of the cylinder... do you have a picture? Unless its pouring out, or gets worse, I would not be too worried. If you have over filled the oil, maybe time for an oil change to get the level right.
