I HAVE TWO BATTERIES AND TWO ALTERNATORS ON THE TRUCK ALONG WITH A PLOW PACKAGE. THE PROBLEM IS THE LIGHT FUSE GETS SO HOT THAT IT BLOWS AND MELTS. ALSO,THE SECOND BATTERY LIGHT INSIDE THE TRUCK STAYS ON. I'LL CHANGE THE LIGHT FUSE AND THE LIGHTS WORKS A FEW MINUTES THEN BLOWS. COULD THE SECOND ALTERNATOR BE WIRED WRONG. WHAT CAN POSSIBLY CAUSE A FUSE TO GET THAT HOT. ITS EVEN STARTING TO MELT OTHER FUSES INCLUDING THE FUSE BOX. PLEASE HELP ME, WINTER IS HERE.

When I started the truck the air bag light stayed on and then I would drive it for a bit. Then the radio would stop working and then the truck would stop running, sometimes a boost would help for a while then she would stop again. I found out it needed a alternator I bought a new one and it was put in by a mechanic. Then it started getting hot and right now it does not run.
two wires melted behind light switch one was parking lights and not sure but the other may have been the dimmer. ther was also one melted from number nine on the fuse box not sure if the one goes from light switch to fuse box
