Question about 1986 kawasaki KZG 1300
While riding moter stops then restarts with no warning.fuel runs straight threw fuel filter and only sometimes keeps full 1986 kawasaki z1300
Initially, I would assume that your description "stops then restarts with no warning" indicates that the engine just dies suddenly. Should this be the case, then most likely, the problem is electrical in nature and suspects would be:
As to the fuel filter not being fully filled, it is a matter of priming. The air inside the filter has no where else to go. A trick is to use an external method of initially filling the filter before installing. This of course would require that the carbs are also filled.
Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information. Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.
