Question about 1993 Yamaha XJ 600 Diversion S
I have a XJ600 Diversion year 1993 and my CDI fail.
I have acquired a new in UK but it didn't work.
Looking to the wire diagram of 1993 and 1997 I saw that some wires on model 1993 change their position in relation to the model 1997 ( I don’t have the wire diagram of 1998).
So I would like to send an image of the CDI 1998 that I have acquired and ask to somebody check and send me the actual position of wires on CDI of model 1998.
I think the CDI is in good shape and probably the connection is in wrong pins.
If somebody could help me I will appreciate.
Hi mate. the cdi was changed in 1995 to accomadate a thottle sensor.pre 1995 the cdi was a square item. post 95 there tapered..

Hi it might not be CDI it might be the pickup coils (they tell it when to spark)
