You can always download Manycam and install it. Go towww.google.com and in the search box type: "download.cnet.com"(without the quotes). Click on the link to go to the site. When thesite opens look down on the left and you will see a gray area that says FindSoftware. Type "Manycam" (without the quotes) in the whitesearch area then hit the search mirror. When it brings back your resultslook for the one that says ManyCam Virtual Webcam. Down load it andinstall it. Make sure you remove the check box on any junky programs itwould like to install. You only want to install ManyCam, no additionswhatsoever during the install. ManyCam is totally FREE and easy to use,and you will always know where your webcam software is.

1. Follow this link: Lexmark X422 Drivers
2. Where it says "Please Select Version" select the appropriate operating system. If you need a Windows 7 driver, try the Windows Vista drivers first. Also make sure you know whether you have a 32bit OS or a 64 bit OS. If you are unsure, check your computer. You can do this by going to the control panel and System and Security and then clicking System. Look under System Type for 32bit or 64 bit.
3. Click Filter
4. Download appropriate drivers and install them.
5. Restart computer after drivers are installed.

Try using the Webcam Manager. If you are not able to fix the problem using the Webcam Manager that already installed in your Laptop, you need to uninstall it and reinstall again. To do so, try the following.
To install the correct Webcam software, you need to first update the drivers. Go to Control Panel, select “Devise Manager”, choose “Imaging Devices”, double click “Integrated Webcam”, select the “Driver” tab on the top and click on “Update Driver” option. Once you double click on this option, it runs and bring all that devices installed in your laptop. You can see the message “Application already installed in your computer”. In the bottom, you can find a message as “For Reinstalling Dell Webcam Central Software”. Click on this option to reinstall that, you will be required to reboot again. After this, you can find the option “Dell Webcam Central” in your “Start” button. Click this option and wait, it will bring the icon in the right hand side of the system tray screen. That’s it, you can double click on the icon and open it.
Hope this helps.

HI
A Code 10 error is generated when Device Manager can't start the hardware
device, a situation usually caused by outdated or corrupted driver A device may
also receive a Code 10error if a driver generates an error that Device Manager
doesn't understand. In other words, a Code 10 error can sometimes be a very
generic message indicating some kind of unspecified driver or hardware problem.
Uninstalling and then reinstalling the drivers for the device is a likely
solution to a Code 10 error. If reinstalling driver is not working than try to
rollback the driver or restore the system on previous date..
