1st gear all the way down (toe shifter, not heel). Lift up N,2nd,3rd,4th,5th-6th(if applicable)

If the harley has a four speed tran. One down, three up. Five speed, shift one down, four up.

Six speed is likewise one down from neutral and five up from neutral
