Question about 2008 Ducati 1098 R
If someone has the technical knowledge... Would i be able to fit a 1098s engine on a 848 chasis? I got my hands on a 2007 with only 4-5.000 KM on it and im REALLY considering of keeping it so i can fully mod my 848.
Theres a guy here that put a 999 motor in a 748 chasis. he said all he had to do was drill out the mounting holes in the frame because the bolts were slightly larger on the 999 motor. That thing is so fast he did work to the motor too. So if he can do that i dont see why the 1098 motor would be much different. I made similar mod's in the past before but only for motors than did NOT require chassis Modification. I know with the Electricals i wont have any hustle. The 1098s engine is just too good to let go
