Question about 1987 kawasaki ZL 1000 A1 Eliminator

Chain cleaning .I hear lots of things about this subject...I'm trying to get a variety of opinions about products to use...especially cleaners...WD -40 or not? silicone lub? give me your suggestions...I dont mind spending the money or time to do it right...no short cuts for this investment!!!!

In the long run... get an automatic chain oiler. You´ll have to clean your rear once in a while, but its much easier, than maintaining your chain. It´ll be cheaper, too. Oh, and your chain will last longer as well!
