Question about 2008 kawasaki Versys

Seat height I'm thinking of getting a Kawasaki Versys but I have a 29 inseam. Can I adjust the bike for a 30-30.5 height? Will it take a different seat?

I am 6"2 . Am I too tall for this bike ? 650 cc seems small for a guy my size. I want the seat to be tall. Any info would be great. John

I sprayed detergent on the wheels and brakes to wash them The yellow engine and ABS lights are now always on. KTRC and power mode are now flashing non stop as soon the ignition key is turned on.

Hi, John check for engine codes and try clearing them for this scenario you will need your service/owners manual if you can't find the first and best tool you ever bought for your Yamaha, despair not, for a mere $0 you can download another one. Hi i bought kx 250 f 2004 model . Can the bike seat hight be adjusted to lower hight to soot my wife length. How do i adjust the hight can you assit please?

Koubalink I am short as well, could ride fine, but as the bike is tough to kickstart, I needed the height to get a full range on the kickstart. Bought a Koubalink, fitted it in about 30 mins and worked out perfectly. Cheers

Adjust seat for 26mens huffy

If it is a hand latch, pull out raise seat then push latch back in. If it is a bolt, then using a 5mm hex wrench turn it counterclockwise until loose. Do not remove bolt completely. Pull up on seat to desired height. Tighten bolt via turning it clockwise until tight. If it a mountain bike then while the pedal is at the bottom of the stroke you should have a 25-30 degree bend in your leg. If it is a road bike then you should have a 15-20 degree bend in your leg. If you need help choosing the correct height then go to your local bike shop with your bike and ask them to move the seat to the correct height.

I am 5-8" male with a 29" inseam. Is the adult

Different manufacturers measure the frames differently so you can't really go by stated frame sizes. The correct way to measure the size of bike to yourself is to put your leg across the bar and stand with both feet on the ground, keeping close to the saddle. There should be around 4 inches clearance between the bar of the bicycle and your ****. The saddle of the bike is at the right height when you have your feet on the pedals, and either of the pedals is fully down, next the ground, and you don't have your knee bent while sitting on the saddle. This makes it easier for cycling as if you can't straighten your legs while cycling long distances they get very tired quickly. This means that it's normal to have to tiptoe or let the bike over to one side when you're sitting on the saddle stationary.

Can you adjust the seat height on my kawasaki 125?

No what you can do is take it to some one who does custom seats and discuss having it re done with thicker foam piece raising it to your comfort.

How to lower a 2003 zzr1200?

You will have a very difficult time getting it low enough to fit you adequately. The seat height is nearly 32 inches stock, so compare that with your inseam and see how much you would need to adjust. It is doubtful you will get the bike that low without ground clearance and fender clearance issues, safety aside.

But, to answer your question:

The front fork tubes can be slid up the triple clamps over an inch, sometimes as much as 2 inches. Your fender may need to be removed however.

The rear you will have to buy/fabricate a lowering link set. There are several styles available on for your bike.

I would also recommend taking your seat to an upholsterer and having some of the foam removed to provide more clearance for you.

Be advised that all modifications to the ride height of your bike adversely effects your ride quality and control. The amount that you need to lower your bike could and likely will make it much more difficult to maneuver due to the skewed suspension geometry.
Please be careful!

Bike height

I think the 696 is 30" or 31". If it helps, my inseam is 31" inches and I can easily flatfoot it (lots of bend in the knees). It's taller than my 695 for sure--even with the touring seat.
