Do you have any ideas how to adjust supply of 2t oil that cause too much smoke and oil coming out from exhaust pipe?a newly overhaul kmx 125, 2002 model .

You adjust the oil via the oil pump. The throttle cable splits, one section goes to the carb and the other to the pump, you adjust the play/tension of the wire on the pump, while pulling back the throttle to see if it's aligning properly at full throttle and idle. Two strokes tend to be very smokey so unless the smokes an unusual colour it's usually not a problem. I have a Kmx 125 with a 200cc engine, I prefer running slighty rich on oil, better than running slightly lean! :)

Kmx 125 fully ported modified for MX racing consumes too much gas, what will i do to restore it back to normal consumption, want to use it daily...thanks a lot...

Install a new cylinder and re-jet the carb back to stock. If the ported cylinder has been bored you will need new piston and rings also. I would re-jet the carb first and see if that change will suffice in the fuel economy area. Changing out the cylinder etc., is costly. Check the front and rear sprockets. If they are not the stock sprockets, ( 14 tooth and 48 tooth ), replace with stock. Please rate my answer.

I have a 1999 kmx 125 and got it with no tubes on the nipples of the carboretor i have cut some to size but dont no which 1 goes were?

The smaller ones are vent tubes. It really doesn't matter how they are run - they all need to end up open with the ends under the bike.

There will be one single, larger hose connection on the carb for the fuel line from the tank. Other than that - all the rest are vent tubes.

1988 Kmx 125`hits short flatspot /stutter at 8000 revs

You changed the back pressure in the exhaust and that is what causing your problem either put the washer back in or have the carb properly jetted

Carbureter is leaking fuol an boggin out

hi urfkel,

keep the carb tight but breathable.
change the gasket and the replace the tubes. KMX oem carbs are pretty good, just have to take care of it with the right tuning and perioding cleaning.

Kawasaki KMX 125 losing power

hi man,
I had a similar problem, so maybe I can help you. it can be connected with air filter. under your seat there should be some kind of cover on the air filter. just remove it. I've noticed this problem when I unrestricted my KMX 125. the hole on the cover on the air filter is too small.
