Rear tire loosing air

So my rear tire keeps losing air and after inspecting it I found a staple inbetween the thread. Is there any way of repairing it and saving it? I just put it on a month ago and its basically brand new. I'm low on cash and can't buy another 1.

You need to find somebody to put a patch on it, I patched mine after having a screw through it and I drove it for another 3,000 miles with no issues. A lot of people say you can't patch them but its bs and I personally did it.

There is a product called "FIX A FLAT" that comes in a can that looks like spray paint. A short "air" hose comes with it. Auto parts stores and some supermarkets have the stuff. Attach the can to the air fitting on the wheel then let the can contents flow into the tire. Follow directions on the can for exact instructions.
... The stuff will also automatically seal up your next staple, and the next ....

Enjoy some videos about leak and slow leak detectin in a tyre. If you don't have the equipment to do it or find it too hard, take it to some competent repair service. If is is losing air, they MUST find it.

Fuse keeps blowing on 06 flhx. lose horn, signals, tach, speedo,

Hi Bob: sounds the repair shop did not follow thru with the repairs. In my shop we solve the problem before the bike leaves. They were on the wright track. Recommend the tire to be removed and pull the wiring down so you can open the sleeve and inspect ALL the wires. you may find bare wires shorting out. Repair them and ride like the wind. Fran PS find a good local shop they will treat you the best.
