I just bought a used That has been sitting for a loooong time. 2 years maybe. The bike got dropped a while back and he had the intention of rebuilding and never did. I started it, rode it, all seemed ok, in my exitement I never looked at the oil (really dumb I know) The sight glass looked foggy, had some white sediment. I drained the oil and had a nice milk shake pour into the pan. I've read in other threads here that this can simply be condensation. I was also told that there is a water pump seal behind the impeller that comonly fails. There is also allways head gasket The motor had no clanks pings or bangs. What should I try first??

have to take the water pump cover off and all the plumbing
that goes with it. Be sure that when you put the new water pump seal in
not to put any lubricant like oil or grease on it. This is a ceramic seal
and oil or grease on it will ruin it. There is also a spring in there that keeps pressure on the seal so replace that as well. You will see what is there when you get it apart.
Replace any corroded/rusted parts.
Take a good look at the impeller and make sure it is 100% while you are in there.
