It depends on weither or not you have any aftermarket stuff put on the bike. My 600 will do 182 but that is with a power commander, acceleration kit, k&n air induction kit, k&n filter, and having it dyno tuned. My buddys stock 600 will do about 166 mph

Lol 186 mph from a 600 dream on. unless you have a lot of work done, 165, I built my sons 750 srad 800 cc big bore, piper cross filter, power commander 3 full akraprovic, and that will only do 180 and some, however my 99 busa with power commander, race cans, and K&N well pampers comes to mind

Many things can determine the top speed, tune-up, wind, etc., 164mph according to the service manual.

    0 to 60 and 0 to 100

0 - 60 is 3 second in first gear, 0 - 100 is 5 seconds in 3rd gear, but you have to wind out 2nd pretty quick and power shift into 3rd. Don*t forget to breathe !!!

I have a 2005 Katana 600. I had some problems with it runnin rough. Got the carbs cleaned out, filter, and plugs, runs great now, but still won't idle. Any ideas.

Either the idle speed is set too low or the idle circuit in the carbs is still plugged up despite the previous cleaning.

Where is the speedometer sensor at exactly omn a gsx r 600 05 ??

it's located on the front sprocket cover held on by a 4mm allen key bolt. if yor sensor is good, there is a part called the speed rotor that could be bad. the speed rotor is the plate on top of the front sprocket that sends the signal to the speed sensor.
