This is actually designed to run at those revs. It\´s basically the best way to maintain reasonable power to wheels at high speeds with an engine that is not powerfull enough to produce the HP needed to maintain that speed or higher speeds with a higher gear ratio.

How do I go about fixing a reving issue on my bike? It doesnt like to rev past about 10,000 rpms. I was thinking maybe the carbs need to be rejetted. The bike will rev to redline in neutral.

Hi, Ani and the usual suspects are:
1. Severely drained or faulty battery.
2. Faulty regulator/rectifier or high output coil.
3. Faulty power valve, solenoid or installation.
4. Clogged air filter or exhaust.
5. Cracked or incorrect float level.
6. Float needle is not seating.
7. Faulty reed valve.

Triumph twin, the rev counter has started to read below the real rpm. The faster the revs the more wrong is the tacho

The inner part of the cable could be slipping / warn out or broken.
Check the cable where it attaches at both ends, tighten up if loose.
Take the cable off and check the ends for obvious wearing, if the inner cable looks damaged, replace with a new one.
Hope this helps.
Some bikes have a totally different set up to how they read the rpm
you could try a after market rev counter, good luck

Whilst driving the rev counter goes to max and back quickly and car has to be stopped and put into netturak to go again and also when coming to a stop sign the car pushes to go on and has to be put in

1. Is your car an automatic with sport mode? Because sometimes if the car gets hit into sport mode accidentally, it will rev to extremely high RPM (because it is waiting for the driver to indicate shift timing).

I have the 08 yamaha r1. When I hit 6th gear its stops at 100mph, so then I heard about rpm but don't know if its real or fake and if that will fix my problem

Not sure what you heard about rpm?
They are definately real, it means revolutions per minute, and is how fast the engine is spinning.
watch the rev counter( or rpm counter) and see if is going up to 10,000-11000 thousand. if it does you may have a slippng clutch
