Speed of the GS 500 F is 115 MPH but I had my bike up to 200 KPH and still had room on the tach thats 124 MPH not bad for a 16 year old design

Engine noise yamaha

Hi, Phillip I would love to help you with your engine or chassis noise but I just loaned my brand new pair of listening ears to your local dealer's chief technician so he could take your bike for a test ride and give you his professional opinion and estimate about your noise and repair cost. Do the Yamaha yzf r6 and Yamaha yzf 600r use the same exhaust

Hi, Lp200 hard to say it looks like the R6 has a longer exhaust pipe but the mufflers look the same for this situation I would call my local dealer or reputable shop's service/parts department and inquire about any possible quick fix, answers, or parts inquiry. Just bought a 2008 yamaha r1 and want pictures to show best way to lower it 1.5 inches

I'm 5'2", lowered the bike 1.5" all around, and added a 70 series tire to the front. I was worried the bike wasn't going to handle very well and I am a pretty new rider so I had a friend ride it (he's been riding for 10+ years) and he said it feel pretty good.

With this setting I can get my toes on the ground on both sides, enough to keep the bike balanced on just about any road. If you want to lower the bike I would HIGHLY recommend trying a smaller seat or at least combine it with a smaller drop (since you are an inch shorter maybe a seat and the 1.5" drop will work...all depends on how long your legs are).

Here is the rear link I used: 1?mpt=1048020842&adtype=1&size=1x1&type=3&campid=5336105921&toolid=10001 LINK

And the front I just lowered the triple tree down the forks. Don't forget that if you do lower it you'll need to either modify the kickstand or buy an adjustable one.

Cant undo nut

No they are not left hand thead, normal r/h thread.
make sure chain is still on bike and front sproket and then try good rattle gun. if this does not work, put bike in gear and hold on rear brake and use long breaker bar, if still no good will need to heat front sproket nut with oxy set very carefully and rattle off with rattle gun while nut is hot

Bike pegs

There is a round clip under the peg that goes around the pin. Take a flathead screwdriver and pop the clip off. Then slide out the pin and there you go...make sure to go and get new clips. Dont reuse the old ones they will come off when riding.

a jump box is nothing more then a battery with leads on it so where are you connecting it verses the new battery you put in the bike. that doesn't make since unless you are connecting the box right to the starter motor then it be constently running the motor untill you unhooked it. check all your fuses and examine all wire harnesses for damage, burns, or any mellting.
