Does other GN of GS mudguards don't fit? Must be... Change it to 12 volt, that would be handy... I don't know, ask a Suzuki store…

Susspension set up for Motorcross bikes

When I need to set up a motorcross bikes suspension I set all the settings (both rebound & compression) to the middle of the range on both the front suspension & the rear suspension

Now, measure the distance from the inside of the rear mudguard and the top of the rear tyre & note the distance.

Now repeat with the rider seated in position and note the difference,

This value should be 20mm. If not adjust rear spring pre-load to correct.

Now, measure the distance from the inside of the front mudguard and the top of the front tyre & note the distance.

Now repeat with the rider seated in position and note the difference,

This value should be 15mm. If not adjust front spring pre-load to correct.(if adjustable).

This gives you your starting point for the fine tuning with the dampening adjustments to suit the riders preferances.

I have a 2003 Hartford 125 Legion. I am unable to find a supplier of new spares in the UK. Anyone know which chain and sprockets are compatible? CG125 or Suzuki GN? Other Chinese? Newer Hartfords?

Hi, Anonymous for this situation I would call my local dealer or reputable shop's service/parts department and inquire about any possible quick fix, answers, or parts inquiry. If necessary, transport your bike to the dealer or shop and have a professional technician take it for a test drive, if it is in running condition, and give you a written estimate of repairs and answer any specific questions you may have about your problem. How do you take off seat

Under the rear mudguard there are invariably 2 bolts (usually requiring a 10mm wrench) that are symmetrically mounted and pass through the mudguard then into the seat. Remove those and the seat will come right off. It can be a bit of a hassle getting them back on. Don't tighten either one until you have them both started. Good illumination is key. Get a wearable headlamp from R.E.I. if you don't already have one.

How do I fit saddlebag supports?

Would help to know mak and model.

Presuming that the supports you have are matched to the bike you have, you should find a couple of nuts on the back mudguard (Probably holding some chrome work in place if it is a cruiser). That are the same spacing as the holes in your saddle bag supports. The nuts, when removed should be long enough to go through the saddle bag supports and back into the mudguard frame. You MAY need to buy extended nuts to get the reach to go through the support, chrome work and frame. Order of things to go through: Nut through saddle bag support first, then original chrome then into screm socket in the mudguard. If it's NOT a cruiser and the above doesn't work, please come back and tell me the model of the bike.

How do i get the seat of of 1982 185s enduro i just bought it icant find a pull cable or a lever

NICE BIKE, AS FAR AS I CAN REMEMBER IT IS HELD ON WITH 2 BOLTS, UNDER THE REAR MUDGUARD, ONE ON EACH SIDE, REMOVE THESE BOLTS LIFT UP THE BACK OF THE SEAT AND PULL THE SEAT BACKWARDS AWAY FROM THE BIKE, THE EARLY ONES HAD THE BOLTS ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE FRAME, IF YOUR SEAT HAS A PLASTIC BASE I THINK YOU WILL FIND THE BOLTS AS PREVIOUSLY MENTIONED UNDER THE REAR MUDGUARD.
