Suzuki DRZ400 Luggage

I'm trying to find some way of carrying luggage on my Suzuki DRZ400 (excluding rucksacks!). However, finding a rack seems trickier than I thought, and most tankbags don't exactly seem to be built for use on trailbikes... Can anyone recommend anything?

I install a denali rack on my DRZ400SM. It does slightly touch the muffler but I place epoxy in the area to prevent wear. Order motopack saddle bags from ebay to go with the rack. Now need a set of passender hand grips that I can attach to the rack.

Do I need to buy a luggage scales? My luggage overweight frequently.

It is often you may carry a lot of things in your luggage and thus when you are checking in at the airport, you have to weigh your luggage. If the luggage is overweight then one has to pay some extra money for it. So it is advisable that you would better buy luggage scales and weigh your baggage before going to the airport. This can help people save a lot of money and also help you in carrying the baggage easily.

What is the difference between Suzuki part # 990A0-75002 and 990A0-75066? Both are luggage racks. I am looking for one for 06 C50.

It appears that the two racks just have slightly different designs by looking at the photos here and here. That still does not tell us which one is which though. Either will fit your 2006 C50, but it appears you must also have a backrest to mount the rack to.

Gas Mileage for 2005 Suzuki DRZ400

40-50 depending on how you drive it and where you go. Hard riding off road less mileage. Street riding taking it easy better. Check out for some good tips on the DRZ. Also under the DRZ section is great info and more than you ever wanted to know about your bike. I'v had mine for 2 years now and love it. If your going to go off road at all get diffrent tires. The stock death wings are dangerious off road. Good choice in bikes.
