I don't take drain plug out remove oil line goes into tank start bike oil level will go down in tank as it drop pour more in when u see clean oil come out hose in hand in which u should have it pointed toward a bucket take off oil filter pour. New oil in new oil filter not so much oil that it pours out when u turn sideways to put on put intlet hose back on. Due to vibration the less bolt u turn the less comes out going down road if u take drain plug out or any bolt at all use nylon lock nuts, locks washer if posible blue locktite u can remove blue u cannot remove red use blue on any u turn may cost a little more the small amount of oil u see coming out of hose and new oil in old oil filter is small price to pay for 100 percent new oil through bike
