Question about 1974 Yamaha DT 360
I have an Yamaha DT 360, is it normal to have oil in my air filter? It's not running to good, so I decided to replace the plugs and noticed this. I haven't noticed this before. And why would I have this issue? Please can someone help me with this. John
This is normal. The air filter is re usable on a lot of two stroke engines and you wash the filter and oil it lightly to help catch dust.

Might be what they call a wet air filter. Check with the dealer before installing a dry filter.

This is a common problem with Yamaha . Perhaps it's common on large capacity V-Twins. Check the crankcase ventilation hoses/system.
