Question about 2004 Vertemati E570

1 Answer

Engine Yesterday I go out for a ride and my bike starts to bog down at 6,000 rpm and above. I thought maybe bad gas(filled up before I noticed) so I went home drained my tank and then filled up from a different station. Took it out to test and the same thing happens. It seems to me that it is getting to much fuel or something. If you hold the throttle wide open it will load up and die. Runs normal under 6,000 rpm's. I checked every electrical connector on the bike and it's still screwed up. I guess I have to take it to the dealer, hopefully I'll get it back before winter arrives in 2 months. Anyone have any ideas?

Maybe someone put a spud up yer exhaust pipe -] Seriously though, could be the fuel pump on it's way out? Does it do it an all of the three maps? But from what you say it sounds like fuel, also check fuel lines aren't kinked, Check the tank breather is breathing ect ect

2003 suzuki marauder vz800 bogs out when riding

Run some seafoam through it. Empty the fuel in the bowl and fill the same amount of seafoam. start it run it for a min then let it sit over nite. hook all back up run it for ten mins or so and see what happens. If that dosent help maybe a re jet will do it. Punch this all in youtube also. some really good videos on this exact same problem!;)

2008 yz450f wont idle, bogging like crazy, gas in air box

the is few possibilities with this issue but my first thoughts would be leaking intake valves or maybe one has stuck open or they might just be worn out allowing compression to blow back through carbie, My next thoughts would be are all the breather hoses on the carbie clear and free of blockage maybe one has melted from heat or got blocked from mud debree etc?

Check valve clearance or get leak down test done would be my first recommendations.

New bike (to me), was riding it, cut off, and now kickstarter won't budge?

The cutting out sounds like you are revving above the red line. The red line is there for a reason- this is the engine speed at which the engine is under the most stress. In other words an ocassional trip into this area is not a problem, but continued use in this area will kill the engine. If the bike was mine, I would remove the head and check the piston and barrel. You don't say if the engine will start now. The fact that the kickstarter works now would seem to indicate that the engine is turning over, ( I hope). This should give you some idea at least. If not just ask!

98 CBR F3 doesn't stay running w/o choke on

There seems to be fuel starvation to the carbs.
Check the fuel filter and the petcock, not bad too to clean the carb/s.

Low Fuel Cutting

ill fill up tomorrow morning. I slowed down to take a left hand turn. As soon as i started turning the bike started to cut out and hiccup like mad. I rode the corner out clutch in while giving it full wrist to keep it alive. As soon as the bike straightened back up it came back to life. It rained yesterday pretty hard so i drove to work but i bet $1000 dollars that if i fill it up today it will ride fine again. So the question is...clogged fuel filter, fuel pickup, fuel line? My guess is crap on the bottom of the tank and when low the fuel pickup is choking/starving on the sediment in turns. So im just throwing this out there, to see if anyone thinks this the right diagnosis. Thanks for any input.,Thats exactly what happens when you run out of fuel... so it could be a bad filter or pickup clogged.,,,
