Question about 1997 Triumph Trident 750

1 Answer

Elictrical problems Here is a problem I haven't yet been able to find in any of the many threads I have looked at so far. Wonder if anyone can help. I have a 96 trident. Bike starts and idles ok, but as you slowly increase the revs the lights start to flicker and the engine starts to surge slightly. Have tried replacing the regulator, made no difference. Voltmeter on battery reads ok. Mechanic thinks it might be a bad electrical connection but reckons it could be very difficult to find, he hasn't had a go at it yet as he is booked out for the next couple of weeks. Has anyone got any clues? Thanks in advance.

When pulling my bobbin thread thru to top my upper thread doesnt go all the way around the bobbin case then it hooks on the little metal arm on top bobbin case on my PE700

The part that holds the bobbin case moves around it after catching the upper thread. Check it and see if it is not working as it should. I wonder if the bobbin is not in far enough.

How to display the clock on xo vision xod1760bt

The graphics aren't the best, pretty simple nothing fancy but the videos look pretty good. The deck has a lot of features and has surprised me so far. It has a clock adjustment but it doesn't display a clock in any screen. I believe it is a deck that is worth the money, even the three extended warranty only cost me 28 bucks. I haven't had it that long and I read in previous reviews that the longer you have it is when you start having problems, I hope not but if so I will just take it back. I would recommend it to anyone that is looking for a in dash TV but doesn't want to spend a lot.

I get major tangles with lower thread and cannot sew. I've cleaned the shuttle and machine, changed needle, thread, bobbin and wonder if the shuttle is damaged....How could I tell? If so, is a...

It could be a mechanical problem but before you do more first check your UPPER tension. If the upper thread tension is too loose and the bobbin tension is tight you can get looping on the underside of the stitch. So pull on the upper thread and feel if there's tension there. You can try to increase the upper tension and see if that helps.

Repairing ATI graphics cards!

I've never known anyone who repaired a video card. As far as I know, that's not possible--with the exception of replacing the fan on cards with a fan.

I have no idea just why you believe the card is "broken," but if you let me know just what the problem is, I'll sure try to help you further.

Problem with threads not catching

Try putting in new needles. Make sure they are in the proper position. There is a stopper which keeps the needle down far enough to make the right connection. Sometimes the needle stopper, after long use, moves up a little which prevents the needle from going low enough to pick up the bobbin thread. You could try lowering the needle just a little. Not to far, or it will break the needle. Sewing machines need a lot of oil. Not all at once but a drop or two after an hour of use. All lint needs to be removed from under and around the bobbin before it is oiled. Keeping the machine clean and oiled is the life of the machine.
