Question about 2008 Ridley Auto Glide Classic
What is the stock # for the oil filter? It is not listed in the manual or at least I can't find it. The oil is listed as 20W-50 do we also use the 10W-50 for the 07 model? Thank youYes the Owners Manuals are the same for '06-'07 except for the cover and maybe a typo correction or two. The filter is our part #11801 (K&N 171C). It's a good question and one that I answer often. We changed the factory recommended oil in 2007. I wish I had a way to say this where it was clear and available for everyone but here it is: THE CORRECT OIL FOR ALL AUTO-GLIDES REGARDLESS OF YEAR MODEL IS 10W30 MOBIL1, SYNTHETIC MOTOR OIL. THE CORRECT AMOUNT IS 1 3/4 QUARTS. THE LEVEL ON THE STICK SHOULD BE 1/8 BELOW THE TOP HOLE IN THE STICK WITH THE BIKE IN THE UPRIGHT POSITION. THE DIPSTICK MUST BE SCREWED ALL THE WAY IN TO MEASURE THE LEVEL.,,,
