Question about 2004 Moto Guzzi California Stone
000 miles a year but spread this out through the year except for very wet windy or icy days. I have had to buy a new battery every year and yet again it's failing to turn the engine over. My garage does not have electrical power and is some distance from the house so can't run an extension lead for battery charger. Any ideas?I swapped to odyssey on the Breva 750 I had similar problem: parked outside where cant put on tender, used all year but with gaps. Original wet lead acid would die in about 4 days in winter (alarm plus electronic instruments drain), odyssey is still good enough to fire it after 2-3 weeks. there are cheaper makes of AGM battery than odyssey, and in standard battery dimensions (odyssey use their own sizes), but odyssey are the only one that could give me deep discharge information & specifications. Note check compatability of mains chargers before using on AGM batteries, correct voltage regulation is important.,,,
