Backfires at decelaration, and popping at steady pace of travel

Hi, the most common cause of this is an air leak into the exhaust system, check the header pipe gaskets and any other joins in the exhaust system. Another cause can be damaged valves and seats usually caused by not cleaning the valley before removing spark plugs, small stones then fall into the combustion chamber causing the damage. Hope this helps, cheers.

I had bought a new shocker however in around 5

This is a chinese motorcycle so tehy are littered with problems, you coul take your shocker apart and make sure the springs are not caught, or if it is oil like your front forks, you could drain out the oil and put in new :)

Do i need a special hone to hone a1996 kx250 cylnder head

You mean cylinder jug? You don't hone the heads, but they do have special tools for polishing the valve seats. Usually they just spin the valves with a drill motor and some grinding compound to get them to seat tight, water tight. The jugs are honed out with a big brush that looks like something a chimney sweep would use. It has polishing stones on the ends of the bristles. but, they do that after the jugs are bored, they have honing stones for crosshatching the bores, kinda smooths them out. If you don't bore out the cylinders, use one of them. Check it out.

The front end (forks) seem spongy with little or no rebound, and wallow through corners

Hi !
The oil in the shockers has leaked. You will need to firstly change the shocker washer and then only fill new oil.
Have you met with any small accident where your shocker could have been slightly bent??? resulting in oil leaking out. If so you will need to change the shocker rods.

Yes it is possible if it is pourous stone such as marble. Search google online on the type of stone and see if it is pourous and then search for proper tinting, dying colors for it.

Hello dude. I can buy it for you from the local Yamaha dealer. The trouble is that I am in Romania. This in Europe. If the money is not a problem, I can send the bike to you by ship. It will take ages and lots of money. If this is OK with you, give me more detalis details. By the way, I got one too :). White with red.:)) Dragos

I have a problem with my bajaj pulsar shock absorber, within three months it was found hard

i think it is shock absorber.after 15000 km it is recommended to change the oil of shocker.
1>you may topup your shocker oil then see if their is change or not.
if not
2>then your shocker must be tilted or damaged which can be repaired with a pressure machine or they must be changed....

Rear height of r15

you have increased the width of the tire only 5mm on the sides, all you need to do is to trim the mud guard down just enough to clear the tire and still work as a mud guard. if you were to install a longer shock you would change the geomerty of the machine making it harder to sit (higher) on and ride in the leaned over position seat no longer flat but leaning down hill to forks

A mate of mine just put one on his ZX12R and he sais it has made a huge difference in power and running. I like the fact that you can adjust the map for different riding conditions.
