So I got the front bearings changed after all the hassle with the locked bolt and then the bike fails the MOT because the floating disc on the front moves a fraction when brake is locked making a clunk. It was doing same last year but passed ! I seem to remember somewhere on a forum (might not have been here) a listing of bikes that share the same disc as the Cali 1100i - a 300mm flaoting disc with 5 studs Anyone any idea what other makes share the same disc or how to find out? Can't afford the £400 from Motomecca so will need to Ebay for it Check it's the disc which is worn, and not the centre, I had that problem on the back, and it was the centre not the disc which was worn. Even then I only got an advisary, not a fail, and it was moving quite a lot. Mine is a Spada III, same as the Cali III and Mille 1000. All had the 300mm floating disc on 5 studs. The disc and centre are flat.,,,

Where do i put brake fluid into

The reservoir for the front brake is on the master cylinder on the right handlebar. The reservoir for the rear brake will be on the frame behind the right foot peg.

Can not get air out of front harley brake line

Your pulsating problem is probably caused by warped rotors, not your brake line.

I'm not sure if I understand exactly what your problem is. The right hand indicators have nothing to do with the brake lever. The brake light may not be working when you pull the front brake lever due to a bad front break light switch that is located in the right handlebar switch housing. I can send you a schematic if you'll contact me directly at Remind me of what you need.

Right foot pedal doesn't light tail light when stopping but using the brake lever on the throttle side works the brake light perfect including rear turn signals and brake light bulb.

More than likely, the problem is the rear brake pressure switch. Find the rear brake master cylinder and follow the metal line that comes out of the back of it until you come to a switch with two sets of wires connected to it. This is the pressure switch. To replace it, simply screw the old one out and screw the new one in. Do not press the foot pedal with the old switch removed. You should not even have to bleed the brake if you do it right. Have the new switch ready to screw in before you take the old one out. One out the other one right back in.

Brake light is always on.. goes off on occasion whe fwd brake applied

There is a tab on your front brake lever that operates the front brake light switch. First make sure your front master cylinder is set correctly to the right handlebar switch housing. Loosen the two bolts that hold the front brake master cylinder onto the handlebars and slide it back against the right handlebar housing all the way. Tighten the bolts and check the rear brake light operation.

If this doesn't fix the problem, you probably have a bad front brake light switch in the right handlebar switch housing. This will require that you take the bolts out of the housing, split it and remove the throttle assembly, unsolder the switch, install a new switch, and resolder the wires to the new switch. If you're not comfortable with wires and a soldering iron, you need to take it to a shop to have this job done. If you wish to attempt the repair yourself, repost and I'll help as much as I can.

I took off my front signals & past the rest of the wiring through the handlebars & made sure to solder them back together right! now my rear brake light is always on & I don't know...

The front brake light switch is located on the inner face of the right handlebar switch housing. If you have too much of a gap between the switch housing and the front brake master cylinder, the brake light will stay on continously. Move the front brake master cylinder outward on the handlebars snuggly against the right handlebar switch housing. If this doesn't not solve the problem, your wiring or the switch has a problem.

Brake lights stay on

Ok, the brake light is turned on when the brake lever is pulled. The switch is actually located in the right switch housing along with the right turn signal switch, starter switch, and throttle. It's simple button switch. When the lever is pulled, it pivots on the pivot pin and small tang on the bottom side to the lever swings FORWARD releasing the swith turning on the light. When you let go the tang swing backwards depressing the button turning off the light.

Loosen the bolts that hold your front brake master cylinder to the handlebar and slide the master cylinder back towards the switch houslng as far as you can. They should be touching. If the light still won't turn off, you'll have to take the right hand switch housing apart and replace the small switch.

Good Luck
