I have a sp seat i would like to tryThe only idea that immediately springs to mind is to convert to individual filter pods so you can remove the air-box. That can create a lot of space just in front of the battery so you could relocate the computer without major wiring dramas by either putting the computer in front of the battery or moving the battery forward and going behind (given the routing of the wiring harness I'd think the latter option is the go-er). The only down-side of this from my point of view is you couldn't use the original inlet stacks so with the pods fitted directly on the throttle bodies you'd probably lose some bottom end and the stock side-covers most likely wouldn't fit any more. ,,,

Does anyone know of a replacement seat with a driver back rest that will fit? I am also looking for crash bars with no luck!

Hi, David for this situation I would call my local dealer or reputable shop's service/parts department and inquire about any possible quick fix, answers, or parts inquiry. Changed spark plugs on 94 honda shadow and have no power

I'm assuming the bike ran fine before the work was done. I would make sure the plug woes were properly seated (you should hear a click when you press the boot down on the plug. If not take some pliers and squeeze the metal end inside the boot so the metal ring will be forced around the end of the plug and lock into place. If no joy there, perform an ohm test on the coil(s). Look the coil up on the Internet for the correct amount of resistance. If those 2 check out, follow your power and ground wires back looking for any "skinned" or pinched areas. The last thing I can think of would be the fuel filter.

What do I need to lowere a 1998 883

To lower you Sporty, you can loosen the clamp bolts in your triple trees that hold the tubes and allow the tubes to slide upwards. You can lower it about an inch in the front. On the rear, you can order a lowering kit that moves the lower shock mounting point to the rear lowering the rear end about an inch and a quarter. You can also change the seat to solo saddle as these usually sit much lower than the stock seat.

Good Luck

2004 fxst running lights not working. just changed out the right side turn signal bulb, which was very loose. I suspect a short and a blown fuse, however can't locate fuse box.

Harley has moved the fuse box location several times. Look either under the seat or behind the triangular plate on the left side of the bike.

Good Luck

Sundowner Deep Bucket Seat for my Deuce

I like the sundowner on the deuce, but I don't know about passenger comfort...IMO I haven't seen a saddlebag configuration that I like yet for the deuce. I'm going with a bag to carry on the luggage rack that attaches to the sissy bar Kuryakyn or Saddleman at this point, and I will be putting the bag on to rest on the seat so I can use it for a back rest. (I don't carry a passenger though). Good luck to you & let us know what you decide to go with.

Airhawk?

what are your experiences and what size did you use? I have one its the size recommended on their website. Its worth its weight in Gold on a long ride at least with the short seat, like I have. It doesn't take much air to be comfortable and will add only about a half inch to your inseam. I read a review once where they had it on a sport bike and the reviewer didn't like the way the seat would move under his Butt. Personally I like the feel of the air chambers compensating to the changing load. Almost like a gentle massage. I won't take a long trip without it. If its 100 miles or more its the first thing on the bike,,,
