Question about 2002 Moto Guzzi California 1100 EV Special Sport

ECU I have recently had a major problem with the ECU (it filled up with water after a rain storm or several). I have also fitted a Power Commander but don't think it is part of the problem

As removing it from circuit doesn't improve the situation. After replacing the ECU all seemed fine ran well initially but a bad battery let me down. I replaced the battery and again she started and ran fine for about 24 hours off and on then stopped completely. The fuel pump ran almost continuously and there was a total lack of sparks. To start with I thought it was the ECU again, but swapping it out for a known good one didn't help. I fiddled with everything I could think of, and checked out the wiring as best as I could with a multimeter (handicapped by a wiring diagram whos colours don't agree with the ones on the bike). All of a sudden she decided to run again, right as rain and continued to do so for a couple of days. Has anyone got any thoughts on this please?,Had a similar problem with my 1100i cali, (not the submerged ecu), turned out to be the relays, make sure that the connections in the relay block are tight, pull each relay in turn, and with a really small screwdriver slightly bend the female parts that the relay pins locate with, so the relay is a snug fit when you push it back in, sorted mine out after a week of similar headache. (Make sure the relays are not duff),,,

I have 2006 harley FLH CVO WITH NEW TRUE DUAL EXHAUST AND POWER COMMANDER THAT HAS A BAD VIBRATION AT IDOL

the only thing spinning and vibrating at idle is the crankshaft, gear box , clutch and flywheel
if the power commander is electronic there may be a fault in it
best place for these faults is a dealer shop as they are aware of these sorts of problems

I have no idea what you're asking as your English is so bad? What make/model bike for starters???
You can't override a bike's immobiliser, that's a factory part. If you want to tune it, you should be able to re-map the ECU but that's specialist job. You could just simply fit a sports exhaust & power commander.

2009 triumph thruxton still popping even with power commander installed with d&d exhaust

Yes. take it to a Triumph dealer and get them to install the correct ECU map. They are very good at helping in this way. You didn't really need a power commander as Triumph fit a reprogrammable ECU for just this reason.

Without knowing the exact details of the damage on your bike, all I can do is make a suggestion. If the "Towrag" has managed to get power to the ignition side of the switch the ECU or PowerCommander may be shorted. This could cause the starter to run but not firing pulse to the plugs. Check for a spark at the cylinder. No spark - could indicate a fried ECU or commander.

That means that you are choosing where will the yellow "shifting" ligth turn on.
For F1 maybe it's bad fuel ar psark plugs or something like that, ar maybe power commander doesn't give right amount of fuel...

Ducati monster s2r 800 2005 after big rain nex day no pover after turn keys on

A couple of potentials here: -water in the fusebox -water in the ignition switch -corrosion or bad contact at the starter -blown fuse due to water intrusion I lost a fuse myself on a cross country trip in a heavy rain storm. I lost the ignition and fuel pump fuse at 75 MPH is a blinding 38 degree rainstorm across Nebraska. My solution was blow it out the best I could, install one of my spares, and parked her inside the hotel lobby for 8 hours to let her warm up and dry out. If you find water in any major contacts or fuseboxes, get an air gun on a compressor and blow them out WELL before installing a new fuse, or you're back in the same boat. The fuse box cover waterseal.... DOESN'T. (in my experience...) the Stick

You need to pick up a power commander to remap your bike there are several sources. Go on the web and type in power commander and your bike and something will pop up.

Is the bike fitted with an extra ECU such as Power commander or anything similar? The injectors are engaged directly from the bike's ECU.Are the injector's o-ring tight? Did you renewed the o-rings of the injector you replaced?

Does changing the fuel map smooth the power delivery

A power commander won't help as I believe it is an issue with timing and not fuel delivery. I bought my 2000 and it came with a Power Commander. I tried messing with the fuel with little change in the results. I recently bought a 2002 ecu on ebay and swapped it in. It runs a lot smoother down low although the 5k-6k area feels a little flat so maybe I'll increase fuel there. I really should get it dynotuned at some point. If you're willing to swing the money, buy a Tuneboy instead of a power commander.
